Trident Dug @ Muranaka's

I'll bet you can..
Friday we pulled weeds around the trunks of 86 2-4" dia Tridents and bunked up 11 with trunks ranging from 6-8" all 11 will be chopped in spring!

Hey @Smoke - any input on a trident pushing buds mid November?
I could put it against the house to protect it and let it grow, or try to find someplace cool and dark-ish to discourage it . . . bad ideas; good ideas? Or, do you think Max is right and I should just not worry about it?

"Shot my first turkey today........freaked out the shoppers in the frozen food section" No pictures, never happened. ;)

I'm sure Sticky can answer that challenge :p
I'll concede mine if he concedes his....

@ColinFraser
I know it's more or less still defunct. ..yes?
The Peter tea blog?

There is excellent information on that blog anyway! If you haven't read it!

Well, that's two votes for "get over it" - one of which is from a trident grower in my state, so I guess I'll get on with getting over it!
Thanks @barrosinc and @Smoke for your feedback.

I will be watching it closely out of curiosity though. Stay tuned . . . will the next picture be in full leaf in December? Will it be wilted frosty shoots? Will our hero get over it? Don't touch that dial . . .

No pictures, doesn't exist.

So many! I grew some from seed this year, and I now have more than 40 ranging from 6 to 12 inches tall. All of them are going in the ground, on my hill, until their trunks fatten up.
