I appreciate everyone's patience. I honestly can't trouble-shoot it, because it has to do with PayPal's system. I have even clicked on the link and sent myself money... just to make sure I could do so
PayPal has a very specific program for people who want to place "donate" buttons on their web sites. Because these are donations (and not payments for goods or services) PayPal doesn't charge a fee to process or handle them. If I had to guess, they process these transactions on a very low-priority system that bumps into traffic or bandwidth limits. The GOOD news is that 100% of whatever you donate goes 100% to the site.
And I suppose this would ALSO be a good time to mention... we will be upgrading to XenForo 2.1 with the following improved features:
I have also been in discussion with our site host to move us to a dedicated full server. It costs more... but you all are worth it
