We had a blast of snow last week. Schools were canceled. It's mostly melted...so glad my trees have a place to protect them since they mostly all are woke up. So ready for spring though.

I plucked a couple young larch out of their ice prison today. I figure I can get a head start with some young ones, well I wait for real spring.

Let me tell you brothers and sisters about snow......that vile white powder.......underneath it hides its fouls secrets.....doggie doos and doosie dogs and postmen who have lost their way.
Stray not near its shiny glory for its soul is blacker than the night.

PS: Plus its a pain in the butt to keep cleaning

Yeah, but mosquito season is less then 2 weeks away... misery for 6 months every time I'm outside with my trees... and tomatoes!

Texas already has those little bastards. Early warm snap and no more freezing woke them up early. Need more bats around here!
