Can anyone identify this tree/shrub/bush/plant?

I got some seeds from Etsy that stated these were juniper. Doesn’t look like any pictures of juniper.

I'd guess wild oats, definitely a grass and not juniper. Weed seeds are very good at infiltrating. That's what makes them successful as weeds. Seeds blow into pots, can be present in the soil mix, etc so probably not the fault of the supplier. many species are difficult to germinate so seed failures are common.

You may not be aware but starting bonsai from seed is one of the most difficult and long ways of getting good bonsai. We would rarely expect a good bonsai from seed in under 5 years and often looking at 15-20 years of growth and development.
