I got this pot recently, and I was thinking of using it for an accent pot. My only reservation is that this pot is designed for Mame, and the legs may be too formal and detract from the trees.

I was going to use this wild moss I have growing in my yard as a base and see where it takes me. It looks like small ferns to me, and that could be very interesting! What do you think of the idea, what trees/seasons do you see it with? I am thinking conifers and spring/summer.

For this size of accent mame pot would be enough, you are right.
