From Only Everyone My Interest Needs Assistance

I will not itemize but I see 14 differences in the Highlights pic. I liked those too Sorce. They always had them at doctors & dentist office

@sorce - it is still ALIVE. Outstanding. I cringed many times, as I thought you were doing too much too fast without recovery time. But your care is better than I would have thought for a man with a family, a house full of kids, a full time job and a million demands on your time.

Well done. Can't wait to see where it goes from here. Nice job.

Thanks @Leo in N E Illinois !

Just this morning I felt time slow down. In fact, because today is a more peaceful day than yesterday, This afternoon is slower as well. More "time" to get things done....To accomplish.
It is so very real.

Proper soil, even in drainless bottom baskets....
And mindless constant flooding.....

That works ...

Hmmmm.

Same as Walter said in my new signature line quote....

The Energy is better spent....

Not the time...

Stress takes more energy, I've become more keen on identifying all my "time" spent aloof due to stress, so I can end them and focus on excellence.

I'm identifying the mind game that it IS, and defeating it.

I am crazy impressed by this tree as well.
Especially after so quickly dispatching the 2 from Michigan.

As we learn....

I would not have a gauge of where these can not go without those 2 MI BHS.
Sacrifice 2 to learn, makes the good one that much better.

Pretty sure we as a community, are embracing this loads of knowledge we can gain from what used to be "sticks in pots".

Eeeert keyboard crash!

(When Earth gives back, since I don't litter or use pesticides, removing me from my aloofness there!)

But bloody hell see!? I thought it was going to be 2:40 2:50, almost time to PU kid at school....nope! 2:10!

Just emitting positive!

That Spruce for Real Resorce is coming.

Not sure how this is going to fit into the regimen....
But note how where needles where removed in fall, growth was slowed, and buds further back are more active.

The only place on the tree where the covers haven't fallen off, but just as healthy.

Seems a much safer way to promote backbud activity than pruning...or removing old needles in fall.

Keeping the interior stronger.
Ripe to later cut back to.
And the tips thinner for taper if you keep em.

Nice work brutha!
I wish I could keep one alive....?
Have you wired this one at all yet?
Doesn't appear so...

Have you wired this one at all yet?

Only the initial spring when it's future was still upright.

Couple guy wires since.

I'm itching to wire this come bout late summer....so I can prove spruce branches will stay in one proper season with no biting.
Heheheheheheheheh!

Shit man, if you can prove to me that wiring them doesn't kill them with the swiftness....I'll be happy!

Seems I found the Limit with this one!

Only lost that one branch that was going the wrong direction anyway. Karma.

I'll probly feed this thing heavy, remove the wire sometime, and just cut off more high left trunk after winter dormancy.
that'll leave a couple cascader chops in the next couple years, then more refinement.

Yours looks like my spruces that I collected in previous years, so much new growth that you can’t even see the bones in photos. Mine are all standard white/englemann spruce though, whereas this looks like Alberta White spruce, which I think is far more challenging.
