Are you talking about the first pic i posted or the sapling that i posted later?
Also the pine in the second pic is young and got flexible trunk, Hence you can wire the desired shape. Once trunk gets thick, it will be difficult to bend or have curve in it.

I was asking which tree you are talking about. I think you are talking about the more mature looking tree that i first posted about; but not positive. And if you were going to do it as a formal upright, would you remove any parts, how would you try to position the branches, etc.?
