They have a great collection there. Thanks for sharing. We usually go yearly, we were there in September this year but skipped the arboretum due to being physically abused by the French Broad.

What kind of sun protection do these get to have these amazing colors? Mine are just crispy this time of year except for the one that i defoliated in July/August. I used 30% shade starting in July which may have been a bit late. Maybe I answered my own question with this observation though.

they are professionally managed, he puts them in a poly house during the hotter months and the bonsai garden blocks most of the winds that destroy maple leafs
