Your the one that started all this! Thanks for posting your work and opening the door. And AZ! AZ been keeping me busy too
Good Question! It's extremely hard for me to say at this point. But I want to get that "style" better...that one to me, is, something that can be wicked sick!
I think all my favorite pots have a contrast between glaze and clay, dark on light or light on dark.
I slapped this new clay together fast and glazed the bonedry and threw it right in a glaze fire for a test, and to see the clay fired....
Love this blue on red.

A couple other glaze tests on Scrapcent Planters...
And the first pot that Blew up from being a bit wet still...cracked off and glazed back on!

The blown up pot is now mine.... I like how it’s battle scarred. Patiently waiting for my fleet of LSD series pots. If you could make three different color ones that could be used together, that would also be cool. Perhaps a triangular, circular, and a square melted piece.

I went to both days of Bjorn’s grand opening. Nice place with good collected material. Pics of Naoki Maeoka finishing up a killer ponderosa pine demo. “The Crane”I have one going in Monday!
Though it is in this "style" I made up visualizing the other.....
The OGLSD Pot is so simple!

Gnarly tree!!! Was there free beer as advertised?
This is part of the Lip Service Series. For Peter Tea!
I'm going to see how ridiculously far I can make lips go, while keeping a sensible form.
This is already proving a great place to decorate, this glaze showed its deepest blue on this surface.
The surface of this is very intriguing. Annoying and Beautiful at the same time, you want to put it down but if you try, it catches light different and it makes you happy again!
Odd thing is, when I started taking pictures with this good Nikon, I was amazed at how pretty the pictures were without much effort. I was so anxiously waiting to get to this one, and the Glaze beat the camera!
I think there are better tablet photos in the other thread!
Anyway, the base is 2 1/4 inches, and this lip gets out to 5 1/2 inches at the widest. The lip itself is from 3/4 to 1 1/8 inch wide.
