Who is Sam! ...and your right I do not read all the posts anymore. I used to, when you deleted your bolted together tree. This is why.

The bolted tree is doing fine...branches are finally bulking up a bit.

They are usually run off because they are the most passionate, vocal, and active. They share a lot and some get irritated (or maybe even intimidated) by it. Some also cannot understand what they are talking about sometimes and they get labeled cocky, crazy, hubris, etc.

Bottom line, it is hard to describe the rainbow to someone who can only see black and white.

Wrong.

Sawgrass/SAM did it (deleted pics) first. Yes, I did it too much later because of people who keeps saying I am not posting any pictures and hates me for linking threads where they are instead of re-posting pics (which to me is idiotic).

I believe you are one of those who claim I am not posting what I talk about as proof (though I really believe I do not have to prove anything to you or anyone).

This is the 2nd time SAM did this (delete pics and posts).

BTW, I deleted the pics (it is easy being on one folder)...not any of my posts. For the record, I regret deleting the pics and is an error in my part.

You have obvious skills and experience that are worth sharing. It's too bad that you can't get along with people, can't tolerate anyone questioning anything you write. Perhaps it would be best if you started a blog, where you can completely control the narrative and how (if) people are allowed to respond.

I also can't tolerate anyone questioning when I don't write anything either.
Like after I have deleted all of my post from a particular thread and there
is nothing I have said actually there... and yet someone has to reply with
an insult of calling me ridiculous.

I wish I was able to have complete control over the narrative here as well... cause
I would ask this person that I can't get along with why they came to comment
on something that does no longer exist? It would be awesome to like have complete
control over this person, as if I were a Jedi using a mind trick, cause I would do a
hand waving gesture, and then I would say, "There is nothing for you to see... I can go on
my way..." and then this individual would repeat what I have said to his other
Storm Trooper friends... and I would be allowed to go on my way without further insult.

Oh... yes, I will be back. I still need to remove more posts.

I teach workshops out of town and do demo's and workshops around the local clubs on occasion. I am considered one to go to for advice and help and I have never been treated in person like I am treated here. All I want to do is pass on some knowledge and help when I can and everyone that has never posted a tree or puts wire on like a helicoil wants to argue his point.

I have found it best for me to add a funny note here once and a while. I am tired of arguing with the turface crowd. Once and a while I will post a picture. If someone comments fine...if no one comments thats fine too. I find solace in my blog where I can write unhindered by gnats.

I think many of us can make a similar statement. I have been to workshops, symposiums, club meetings, National Exhibitions...have talked to many who have as much bonsai experience as you do, have questioned many of them, challenged some of them when they make comments that I disagree with - and I have never been treated the way I have on this forum. You've made some pretty nasty comments to me (and others) over the years. Similarly with Sawgrass, I've lost count of how many times he's called various members (including myself) "idiots" and worse simply because someone disagreed with or questioned something he wrote.

So it becomes a vicious cycle. You get tired/pissed because people are challenging you (as if you could never be wrong or misinformed), take it out on others, then they respond in kind and everything escalates. And here we are.

I certainly do understand how it can become tiresome and lead to people leaving the forums.
