Is it possible to develop bark in a container? Or is it just something obtained with ground planting?
Yes it is but it takes longer comparing to the ground planting. I actually love to appreciate the bark of the tree spent all of its life in the container. The bark size is compatible with bonsai. It looks more naturalistic.
