2017 From Seed.

@defra I have had incredibly low germination rates with dawn redwood. At this point I have easily sown 300 of them, and have just a few trees to show for it. Cold stratification does seem to up the rate. I know there is debate around the web, but it's just my experience

Thnx GGB this batch is already outside ill put some more in the fridge then and we will see what happens :)

What are we trying to save in Buying seeds from China?
A dollar?

I haven't seen anything from the Ginkgo seeds yet. Does anyone know when they typically sprout? I'm wondering if I should be worried yet or if I'm jumping the gun.
Same here. Loads of germination. None at ginko. I opened a seed last weekend, and it was very happy, with a little embryo in there. So patience seems to be the ticket for now.

Thanks for letting me know. Good luck with yours. Hopefully we have movement in the next month or so.
