Chopped and ReChopped Olive

Colin, was the olive growing rapidly? I'm thinking it's too early to cut back. But then, I'm not in Southern California.

All of my olives are awake and growing. I forgot a before picture, but this one had new extensions that were at least three or four nodes, plus it didn't get cut at all last year. I still probably could have waited a little longer though.

Seriously though, it does have a certain endearing charm to it. Very nicely done, you've managed it's way forward well.
