135 F roughly 57 C - that is the temperature that if sustained for any significant period of time, all plants and animals including humans simply die. Any desert, that regularly tops 135 F, or 57 C, will be largely devoid of life. Only survivors will be nocturnal creatures that avoid the heat by burrowing or otherwise getting out of the heat during the day. No humans can inhabit such an area without constant air conditioning. Sweating and panting for humans, dogs and even camels will no longer work, prolonged exposure to such temperatures is usually fatal. Agriculture is not possible in heat this extreme.
That is the temperature all workers should just quit for the day rather than working on a roof. They are foolish if they keep working through this type of heat.
