1. Alpine fir, (Lots of alternate views on this fellow's thread) 28" tall, Rubber Korean training pot - $1200.

2. Mountain Hemlock, 23" tall, Tokoname pot - $1300. (Hidden, due to Elandan propensity to leave ground covers alone, is the horizontal trunk running along the soil surface. Easy to expose if it suits you.).

I May Consider Shipping Certain Trees :)

I just ran across MatthewVC's thread on how he packs trees for shipping. ULine, with whom I do business for shipping books, has a variety of lamp boxes, and I may order some, and try to ship some of the trees that are configured in a way that will fit well with those boxes.

I will get back to folks who have expressed interest but for the "local pick-up" requirement, and others of you may now be more interested as well.

Am set to post a few more still.

I love this Chinese Elm. :)

Thanks. Good eye!

It's a great tree. It's one of my oldest, and probably my favorite, and the one I'm most proud of having styled. I'll miss it more than probably any other when it sells. It's probably safely shippable using MatthewVC's method, but I'll know more about that when I get hold of some of those boxes.

Some really gnarly stuff Will, love it. Hope all is well and good luck selling ;).

I'm currently packing up one of my smaller trees using Imgur's shipping method, and I think it will work well enough for some smaller trees. Therefore, I will offer them with shipping, not just local pickup.

Ones that I would be willing to ship include:

1. Jack pine.

2. Ginkgo.

3. Either Shimpaku.

4. Korean Boxwood.

5. European Hornbeam.

PM if you'd be interested, (although the PM mechanism seems a bit quirky these days.

Two more small ones, and maybe a few more such in a few days. Both of these can be shipped.

1. Salix nakamurana 'Yezo Alpina', according to Brent, though I was originally told it was and "arctic willow. There's a thread under that name that has some photos of it with its catkins, I believe - quite pretty. Here it is today, a 9" tall image in a gorgeous Korean pot (sitting nicely on one of the slabs I have for sale, BTW, though the slab is not included): $300, plus shipping.

2. Cryptomeria, unknown dwarf variety - from bottom of pot to tip of tree = 9.5". Pretty Tokoname pot (also sitting on a for-sale but not included slab, #16 on the slab thread) : $300, plus shipping.

I'll post two more today that someone may be interested in.

1. Japanese Black Pine Cascade, Chinese pot, pot is 12 1/2" tall: $600. Local pickup only.

2. Japanese Black Pine, Korean Mica Pot, tree is 14" above pot. Still very much a work in progress, but great potential :) . $400, plus shipping.

Enjoy.

Do you still have any hornbeams left?

I have the European Hornbeam shown in post #58 on this thread. It's got its own thread elsewhere showing it's development and nice pix of it's branching in winter as well.
