That is just spectacular, especially when seen alongside the photo of the full-size tree. The bonsai gives a wonderful presentation of the character of the old tree in nature.

That's an oak tree that I found on the net.

Funny that this is your inspiration. I visited this tree earlier this year in Kent, UK. It's the largest common oak in the world, called 'Majesty'. An incredible tree and the best example of the fairy tale style. It even has a scary face. Here are my photos of it.
