...and they're almost always in AJ's epic thread which, unfortunately, took a distinct tangent a month or two ago and will likely never recover...
Oh, you mean the Arthur/Walter public love letter thread! Where they basically keep saying the same thing over and over.

There is an interesting thread on LED lighting for those of us trying to grow things indoors, but it's pretty slim pickings otherwise. Some nice trees are posted but there is little discussion.

Leaving the IBC is SO 2011. Isn't that about the time it died? ;-) Seriously, the posting activity over there is geriatric.
BSG is way worse. You can check once a month and there will

I know, just messing around...
But I want to see this image fest!
Tree porn. Tropical tree porn to boot.
Anthony needs to make the final picture one of him giving us the finger. Naked. Go out with style. Never be able to come back.
For fear of the critiques he would recieve.

Honestly I'm just trying to figure out whose side @sorce is on based off the posts he liked. He liked them all.
Honestly I'm trying to figure out why there is a need for sides here in the first place. That is the beauty of Sorce. He is on no "side". The forum should actually be taking a leaf from Sorce's book ;)

That "leaf" is still illegal here in GA...

Lol!

Some French Toast....eggs!

And a side of bacon!
I'm on the side of Knowledge.

Let's say you go to a ball bearing store....
There is a DOPE ass tree sitting outside it, an excellent set of roots exposed, almost dried out, you know you gotta pot it.....

What to do?

People who don't listen to Anthony will drive it home it the bed of their truck and it will die.

I will put that fucker in some ball bearings, sprinkle some dirt on top....
And have a DOPE new tree!

I don't know.....Anthony has always been so kind. informative. Respectful. Helpful.
Learned.

I guess that stuff comes off as cocky and assholish to different readers.

Love learn and live.
Or hate waste and die!

Has to be in a pink thong or it doesnt count! With wreaths of foemina..( why am I bit worried about the results of that statement?).
Im with Source, here to learn and grow. No sides here. But Anthony, you shall be missed if you go! Dont let a couple inferior people run you off..theres haters in every crowd. One cant let them bring you down!
Anthony, I wish youd write a book about bonsai! Really. Your a smart person and I bet it would be informative. Id read it for sure if a copy came my way! Do you have a facebook account? You have a lot to teach newer bonsai freaks and if you go many people will miss out on all that know how.. Id like to stay buddies even if you do leave..

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't this Anthony leaving because he has mastered everything.? He has said this; which I do find a bit condescending but who cares what I think:

Design - preferred training technique - Grow and clip.
Which shapes more naturally. Essentially a tropical zone technique.

With what we do, drawings are used.

AND THAT IS IT.

The books basically slowed everything down, too much non information.

Anyhow, with the above, we are pleased to say Bonsai is finished as exploration goes.

So I will be leaving the Internet, as soon as we figure out the J.B.pine.

I have tried to leave enough information for the Newbies, so they don't end up frustrated.
There is enough of that in life already.
Bonsai is essentially very simple, just needs to be returned to that state information wise.
Wishing you all well.
Good Day
Anthony

* No I am not gone yet, wanted to show a few more tree efforts.

I don't see any blame laying or accusation that someone is being driven from the Bonsai Nut Web site, it looks to me like this is a reasoned ( if not delusional) decision on his part.

Like, simple, man, ya know, like...

Bout as simple as chiseling a guy name David out of a squared off chunk of rock. Dang it, I can't "see" the tree through all them branches (or "through the forest").

Good thing Ryan Neil and Colin Lewis and Walter Pall and Nick Lenz still know the internet works where ever they may be. :) Sorry Anthony, If I was aware there was a bonsaist who knew it all, maybe I would have paid more attention to you.o_O:)

For you bnutters who feel bad or are frustrated I didn't mention your coach/master/mentor/go to bonsaist, those I did name are simply the ones I'm still reading through, and by no means am I implying that's all there is.

And then there's Vaughn Banting and John Naka, who I believe won't be punching a keyboard anymore.

Anthony, may you also have a good day for all the future that may hold, and as far as being gone, yeah I too am only about half gone. :)

it looks to me like this is a reasoned ( if not delusional) decision on his part.

I think it is reasonable to allow people to have open discourse (with a few exceptions) and give you the tools to ignore people you don't want to listen to.

I find it curious when people complain that they don't like what someone else is saying... and yet refuse to use the "ignore" button. You can always "un-ignore" someone later if you wish.
