If there is one thing most people like to chat about more than bonsai that would weather ah ah. Still summer here. Just repotted a F benjamina. Still Got at least 4 months until leaf fall on deciduous and my tropical will stay outside throughout winter

104 today and tomorrow and 106 Sunday thru Wednesday. Seems to be cooling down.

In a lot of ways cold is more manageable than heat. I work outdoors and we've had a hot summer. Working through winter cold snaps is rough but we can dress for it and it's often not all that bad. Summer heat though., can't do anything about it, strip down to a thong it still sucks..
Heating my house is tons of work getting firewood but not expensive, I don't think there is a cheap way to cool a house?

We have weather colder here than Anchorage Alaska here anymore. In winter too.
It's real nice.

Sounds like mine in winter. It takes a lot of power to heat a house in below zero weather.

I bet...I love the cold so I don't mind here. Usually lowest is in the fourties, just T shirt weather for me.

We don't have AC, usually not a problem, gets uncomfortably hot in the house for maybe a week or two most years. Different story this year, we have swealtered a bit. At least nights usually cool down, windows and fans overnight, do all the cooking outdoors and it's manageable.
Winter will come soon enough, I'm just still hoping for rain, never have I seen such a dry summer, sucks. Still more or less the same forecast as it's been since May. We've had weeks straight of 90+ earlier this summer actually, weird. And no rain all summer.
