Ouch! from a kid raised in a family farm in the Midwest focused on corn and dairy on 1500 acres (mostly leased) of farmland. We dreaded having to get the next and next and next even more expensive super chemical to cure all. Eventually changed focus on building healthy soil and not mono cropping.

So what is your point? Do you assert we need chemicals for a better life? That there aren’t other safer and healthier alternatives that should be accepted?

There’s always gonna be endless battles between ‘competing goods’ in our societies. This is one of them.

The position of supporting nuking crops with chemicals so big companies make more money for their bottom line in the upcoming quarter instead of these companies finding ways to make money teaching healthy, safe and effective alternatives to farmers to help them succeed in a healthy sustainable way... well this gotta have chemicals position at all cost is absolutely not something I support.

You are free to choose for yourself though and I’ll accept that.
